The biennial Husum Wind, one of the world's most important wind energy trade fairs, is getting closer and closer. From 10 to 13 September, Protectis Air and its partner Volacom will present the new technology Bird Collision Avoidance System (BCAS) in Husum.
Wind energy is becoming the leading technology in the new energy industry. With currently more than 30,000 wind turbines in Germany, this form of regenerative energy production is the second most important source of power. Unfortunately, this form of environmentally friendly energy generation is often criticized in connection with the deaths of birds and bats.
To solve this problem, the Bird Collision Avoidance System (BCAS) was developed, which is characterized by its effectiveness and simultaneous natural compatibility. In addition, the system provides a comprehensive data collection, which provides the ability to generate statistics.
